5th Douglas Banner

Cub Uniform

Scouting is a uniformed movement. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts each have their own coloured uniform to distinguish which section they belong to.

All sections within a group (e.g., 5th Douglas) can also be distinguished by the coloured necker that they wear. 5th Douglas neckers are red with grey trim. We also wear red T-shirts.

Within each section members are allocated by leaders into 'Sixes' or 'Patrols' which have either coloured woggles and/or badges.

'Sixes' is a generic term and numbers may range from 4 to 8 depending on total number of members. Patrols are defined by animal names, e.g.. hawks, tigers, cobras, etc.

For outdoor activities a link is provided in the main menu to 'Kit Bag' items.
