Membership Badges
The Membership badge and Triskelion are awarded when a member is invested into the Scouting Movement. Anniversaries of the initial Investment are signified by Participation Badges.
Activity Badges
Activity Badges are an opportunity to reward a young person who has taken part in an activity over a period of time. They should raise interest and extend a young person's skills throughout their time in Scouting.

Staged Activity Badges
Staged Badges are for repeat activities carried out as members progress through the Scouting movement. Each level attained is indicated by the circled number.

Challenges
Challenges have been developed to extend Cub Scouts' skills and experience and continue throughout the Sections providing continuity from 6 to 25. Challenge Badges can be attempted by a Cub Scout on their own, by a small group or by the whole Pack.

The Outdoor Plus Challenge
is an optional badge that can be earned independent of the Chief Scout Silver
Award requirement.
Chief Scout Silver Award
This badge is the highest award available in the Cub Scout Section. It is gained by completing the six standard Challenges as per the details above.
Moving On
The Moving On Award is presented when Cub Scouts move on to Scouts.
